Christmas Cookies

Christmas Cookies

These butter cookies are a classic, reliable recipe that works beautifully for both everyday baking and decorated cookies. The combination of butter and shortening creates a tender texture while helping the cookies maintain their shape in the oven.

Chilling the dough before rolling is a key step in this recipe. It makes the dough easier to handle and prevents the cookies from spreading too much while baking, resulting in clean edges and consistent results. This makes the recipe especially suitable for cut-out cookies and decorative designs.

The dough is simple to prepare and versatile, making it a great base for a variety of cookie cutters and occasions. Whether you are baking for Christmas or any other holiday, special events, or simply stocking your freezer, this recipe delivers dependable, soft butter cookies every time.

I hope you enjoy making these as much as you enjoy eating them. If you have questions, feel free to reach out.
