Nutella Pudding Cake Filling Recipe
I made this Nutella pudding last week to go with my churro cake and let me tell you it was the best flavor combination ever! I love eating my churros with Nutella. So as I was experimenting with my churro cake recipe last week I was trying to think of a filling that would go really well with it!
I tried my Cream Cheese Pudding with it the other day but it wasn’t quite what I was going for although I loove cream cheese pudding. So I tried to think of my favorite way to eat just churros and that is dipping them in Nutella!!
So I knew I had to try to make a Nutella Pudding to fill my churro cake! And that is how this recipe came to be! I absolutely loved it after only the first try! That doesn’t always happen right?! So you have to go make it right now! lol

I’m sharing the Nutella pudding recipe first so that, when I share the churro cake recipe you guys can already have your pudding ready to fill your cake!
You can make this pudding up to a week in advance. Just make sure to store it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it. This Pudding also goes amazingly well with my yellow cake recipe! So while you are waiting for the best ever churro cake recipe, you can try it with the yellow cake already!

Nutella Pudding Cake Filling Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup Nutella
- 4 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- ¼ tspn salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, heavy cream, Nutella, vanilla and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the Nutella has melted and mixture is starting to boil. Remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl make a slurry of the corn starch and the water. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved into the water.
- Mix the slurry into the pudding mixture and continue to simmer for another minute while constantly stirring.
- When the pudding starts to boil remove from heat and pour into a heat resistant container and cover with plastic wrap.
- Let it cool to room temperature. Then store in refrigerator for up to a week.
